Class Suggestion Bring Back Republic Field Deployment Officers

Description: Following the recent merge of repcom and 74th, the field deployment branch of repcom was "replaced" by RMC. I suggest that the field deployment officers be added back onto the server as a subclass of the main branch of repcom. I suggest this because even though RMC "replaced" FDOs they do not do anything that FDOs formerly did. FDO was an important branch of repcom as they performed the important role of maintaining communications with the base while in the field to allow the troopers to focus on the battle. They also would be able to make decisions on the field rather than making troopers wait for a response from base command. With this important branch missing repcom is severely hindered when trying yo deal with off base situations. In summary, I suggest returning the FDO whitelist back to the server exactly as it was before and putting its members under the jurisdiction of the main branch of repcom.
Benefit: This would bring back a branch allowing new recruits to repcom to have more options. It would also allow players who like to see combat an opportunity to participate in battels. It would also bring back an important part of repcom which was suddenly removed a short while ago.

It is the acronym for Field deployment officer, They were basically repcom that went into battle to maintain comms with base command.

I'd love to see them back, FDO are nice, but it seems like Intelligence now does the job of the FDO if I'm not mistaken

Something like this is in the process of being brought back, but it needs to be developed and written up accordingly within acceptable parameters that's marketable overall in lieu with the integration with the RMC, and how the systems would work in parity with what we currently have. REPCOM isn’t big enough to handle three branches besides RMC. You just don’t have the #’s like other regiments do

I belive they were removed for the reason of not being utilized enough,
BUT if you can manage to stay on base most of the time, and only go out for a specific event once in a blue moon, without getting bored out of your mind.

We aren't supposed to really do this job is the problem, and repcomm who don't know what to do will be more of a nuisance then helping
